According to the “Weekly Securities Statistics” published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), non-residents made a significant investment move in the week of November 15.
During this period, foreign investors net purchased $1.627.3 million worth of Government Domestic Debt Securities (GDDS), reaching the highest GDDS stock level since March 2019.
Additionally, foreign investment in equities increased by $138.6 million, while Non-Financial Corporate (NFC) assets increased by $9.7 million.
EQUITY STOCK
As of November 8, non-residents’ equity stock, which was $30.903.7 billion, rose to $32.141.2 billion as of November 15.
GDDS AND NFC STOCK
During the same period, non-residents’ GDDS stock also reached a 6-year high at $17.837.2 billion, while NFC stocks increased by $8.4 million to reach $389 million.
